The SUMMARY REPORTS

The Sechs Team Was successfully Finished the second visitation to Escalalnte Extension National High School.
That was the gathering of information regarding the needs of the students for training. The data gathering instrument was "Survey Questionnaire ". The respondents actually were one section and 39 students only.

ENHS-Dr. Floro T. Bongco Mem. Extension Training NEEDS!!!

The result of the survey form shows the following Training needs:
1. PC Operation ranks number one. This is the priority need of students according to their total result of survey.

The group suggested to teach students some Basic Computer Application. That was base from the observation during the interview to the respondents. They said that "they are really willing to learn about the basic computer application as preparation for their college education".

TRAINING PROBLEM OBSERVED FROM TRAINING AREA:
" The problem is, there is only one computer unit at ENHS -Dr. Floro T. Bongco Mem. Extension. But that is not the reason to quit the said training activity. Althought their is a lack of facilities the group are willing to find some resources and initiatives that the training will be succesful."

SESSION 1 UPDATES

FIRST SESSION:

The first session was successful. We start at exactly 1:00 pm. The following are activities during first training session:
  • Opening activity by Dario Bucabal ( students group into nine and asked their expectation on the training)
  • Introduction of the first topic by Matandag Rosita
  • History of computer
  • Parts of computer and Function o each parts.
  • Components of computer
  • Usefulness and importance of computer
After the two and onehalf hour of discussion, hands on was followed:
 Cris Bautista and theGarrido sister assist him on the hands on portion. Students were group into four groups. Cris introduced the parts of computer in actual and on how to assemble computer. While the remaining group was given a short brain twister whlie waiting thier turn to hands on. Students were excited and nervous during hands on, because that was their first time to hold some parts of the computer specially the mouse. That was a very enjoyable momen for the students.
After the session was over we give some overview on the next topic to be discussed for the next session. after that we all say good bye to our students...........
